PicBeen — Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026 · Italiano più sotto.
In short
PicBeen works entirely on your iPhone. Your photos and videos never leave your device through the app. There is no account, no server of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer receives no data about you.
Your photo library
PicBeen asks for access to Photos only to show you your photos and videos and to do what you choose: delete them, add them to an album, or like them. You can give full access or only selected photos. Nothing is uploaded or copied anywhere by the app.
- Deleting: items you mark are deleted only after you confirm, and iOS asks you again. They go to “Recently Deleted” in Photos, where you can recover them for 30 days.
- Likes: by default they go into a “PicBeen Favourites” album in your Photos library; in Settings you can send them to your iPhone favorites instead.
- Albums: when you add a photo to an album, the change is made in your Photos library.
- iCloud Photos: if your library uses iCloud Photos, iOS may download a full-size original from your own iCloud account when you view or share it. That goes between your device and Apple, not to us.
Finding duplicates and blurry shots
The “Similar & duplicates” and “Blurry photos” decks are computed on your device with Apple's Vision framework. The analysis is never sent anywhere.
Place names
To show where a photo was taken (for example “6 years ago · Paris”), the app sends the GPS coordinates already stored in that photo to Apple's geocoding service, which is part of iOS, and gets back a place name. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. PicBeen does not store or send your locations anywhere else. Photos without location data are not affected.
Stored on your device
The app keeps a few things in its own storage on your iPhone: the list of items you marked for deletion, counters (items deleted, space freed, decisions per day, streaks, achievements, monthly recaps), recently used albums and your settings. None of it is sent to the developer or to anyone else. It is removed when you delete the app.
Notifications
Reminders (streak, inactivity, low storage) are local notifications, created on your device. To warn you when storage is low, the app reads your device's free space, on the device only. You can turn each reminder off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Sharing
When you tap Share, the app hands the original photo or video, or a recap image, to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice, and the app you pick handles it under its own policy.
Purchases
If PicBeen offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, they are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The app only checks with the App Store whether you have an active purchase.
Ratings
From time to time the app may show Apple's standard “Rate this app” prompt. It is handled by iOS and the app does not learn what you answer.
Children
PicBeen does not collect personal data from anyone, children included.
Deleting your data
There is no account to delete. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Photos you deleted stay in “Recently Deleted” for 30 days; the “PicBeen Favourites” album stays in Photos until you delete it there.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will be updated, with a new date, before the new version of the app is released.

PicBeen — Informativa sulla privacy
Ultimo aggiornamento: novembre 2026
In breve
Eliminare i tuoi dati
